Blues at The North End Boat Club
Bringing the blues back to Newburyport!
Sole's is a throw back to the prohibition era. It's a classy speakeasy in an old converted shoe factory! Baza will be performing their deep blues from the 20s, 30s & 40s from 8pm-11pm
Baza will be performing a few classic blues and talking bout what else but the blues with DJ and host Rob Azevedo. Live on WMNH
Baza will be performing original and classic blues at NPBC. Come enjoy an afternoon of blues and brews.
Baza, featuring Doug Philbrook and Geof Goodell will be performing the blues from the Delta to the Piedmont featuring the music of the masters to the lesser known artists from the 1920s-30s and beyond.

Baza will be representing the state of New Hampshire at "The Big E" this year. We will be playing 2 sets at noon and 5:30 on Saturday, October 2nd
Annual blues festival, brought to you by our friends, The Granite State Blues Society and its sponsors. This performance will feature Doug Philbrook, electric guitar/vocals, performing with his new electric blues trio "Callithump." We will be performing at 12:45-1:45

This will be Baza's first appearance since the covid shutdown. Please join us we kick off a great season celebrating the blues. Bull Spit Brewing Company will be onsite with their great craft beers!

The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, The Animals and The Grateful Dead have all been influenced and paid homage to the blues and it's early creative geniuses through their recordings and interviews. This program explores the connection between rock and blues music through songs, musical structure and form.
